This two-day private training program is tailored for professionals in sport fishing, commercial shipping, and yachting crews who want to foster a proactive safety mindset for both people and property onboard. Beyond piracy concerns, this course addresses the broader spectrum of security, such as break-ins and trespassing at home and abroad. It emphasizes the importance of teamwork and preparedness, teaching crews to stay vigilant and develop a comprehensive emergency action plan. The course begins with the first day in the classroom discussing capabilities, area studies, equipment management, threat vulnerability assessments, and practical exercises. Day two is spent at the range developing skills to work as a team to protect your vessel.
At the end of the day, students finish with real life, scenario-driven team events that will leave the crew more confident and prepared with a multitude of contingency plans. Our training extends to suggestions for weapons packages, emphasizing the importance of standardization.
